West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan and football manager David Moyes mourned the passing of co-chairman David Gold. Who has died aged 86 following a recent illness.
Gould, who grew up at 422 Green Street across from the Boleyn Ground was a lifelong Hammers fan. And in January 2010 fulfilled his dream of becoming co-chairman.

“He always want the best for West Ham United and his passing was a huge loss for all of us.”
Hammers manager David Moyes said: “I am deeply sadden by this news. And on behalf of the players and all the team members in the practice field. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to David Gold’s family at this difficult time.
